Approved by CAPES in 2023, the Master’s course of the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC/UFC) aims to meet human resource shortages with stricto sensu postgraduate studies in the area of Civil Construction Engineering, as well as interact in a more systematic way with institutional teaching and research groups existing in the country and abroad.
The main objective of PPGEC is to train professionals for research and sustainable technological development activities aimed at solving problems or proposing technological innovations to meet the demands of society and the job market in the area of Civil Engineering.
As for the profile of Masters in Civil Engineering, graduates of the Program, they must present scientific and professional competence in the area of Civil Construction, with the ability to develop innovative research and with potential for transfer to the productive sector, and also to work in higher education, in addition to becoming high-level professionals for qualified work in the job market.
